As we creep towards the end of August’s holiday season, we look towards the St Mary’s events coming up during September

The Licensing Service
Wednesday 2nd September at 7.30 pm
Our new Priest in Charge, Revd Jes Salt, has arrived in Buckden and will be licensed by Bishop David at this special service in St Mary’s.
 

Church Garden Party.
Sunday 6th September
At 31, Greenway. 3 to 4.30pm. Entrance £3 to include Cream Tea Cake stall & Raffle. Everybody welcome

Heritage Weekend
Cambridgeshire Historic  Churches Trust – Ride & Stride
Saturday 12th September
Enjoy a good day out either cycling or walking to raise funds for Historic Churches & for both our parishes.  10am start. For more details see the Poster in the Church or contact Ken Gray on 810041

Violin and Cello Sonatas by Handel and Vivaldi and Works for Organ by JS Bach.
After interval refreshments,  Palm Court favourites for violin, cello and piano  by Schubert, Paganini, Elgar and Kreisler.
