Happy New Year from St Mary’s

After the excitement of Christmas, here’s a reminder of the many regular activities that go on at St Mary’s

As 2017 begins, please give some serious thought to our Restoration Appeal .
Work on the roof is now complete but we are unable to progress any of the other projects until we have raised substantial funds. Pray that our grant applications will be successful and that people will feel moved to support our beautiful Parish Church.
When shopping on the internet please try and do so via https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stmarysbuckden (no cost to you)
If you want to make a direct donation, please contact us directly

Our chosen charity for January-February is the Alex Hulme Foundation .
The Alex Hulme Foundation was founded in October 2011, following the loss of Alex Hulme in September 2011 to B Cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. Alex was only 12 years old when he succumbed to this horrendous Cancer. He had fought bravely for six months to no avail and left his family, friends and local community  devastated by his loss.
See the  charities page on this website (under finance) and the charities noticeboard at the back of church for more information during the coming months.
