February at St Mary’s
February may be a short month but there’s a lot going on as we plan for “800 anniversary”, push forward with the Restoration Appeal and look back over the successes and challenges of the past year
For more details about what’s on in February and for feedback from Rev Jes, the ministry team and the PCC, please see the latest newsletter newsletter-feb
. All our monthly newsletters can found on this website on the “newsletters” page under the “info” tab. Alternatively a newsletter can be be emailed to you each month. For those not on email / internet, there are always copies available to pick up in church. If you cannot get to church, you can have a paper copy delivered.
Please give some serious thought to our Restoration Appeal .
Work on the roof is now complete but we are unable to progress any of the other projects until we have raised substantial funds. Pray that our grant applications will be successful and that people will feel moved to support our beautiful Parish Church.

Our chosen charity for January-February is the Alex Hulme Foundation .
The Alex Hulme Foundation was founded in October 2011, following the loss of Alex Hulme in September 2011 to B Cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. Alex was only 12 years old when he succumbed to this horrendous Cancer. He had fought bravely for six months to no avail and left his family, friends and local community devastated by his loss.
See the charities page
on this website (under finance), the weekly pewsheet and the charities noticeboard at the back of church for more information.
