Join us this December at St Mary’s Buckden

This year the 1st of December is Advent Sunday.  The wreaths will have arrived, our knitted nativity sets set-off during the morning’s Advent Sunday Service; we were open during the afternoon of the Buckden Christmas Market & Lights to welcome visitors to the Wreath Festival, children to the Advent Workshop and singers from Buckden School. Please come along.

The Community Café (run by Friends in Deed) will be in St Mary’s on Wednesday 11th.  Please come and join us for a pre-Christmas cuppa and chat.

St Mary’s chosen charity for November-December is Marie Curie

Marie Curie believes everyone living with terminal illness, including Motor Neurone Disease, Cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, Heart and Lung Failure, Dementia and other diseases, should be able to get the most out of the time they have left. Marie Curie Nurses care for you in your home, when you need them most. They will be at your side, with care and support, every step of the way. Services are obtained through GPs, District Nurses and other health professionals.
