Following Monday’s government announcement, the church building at St Mary’s is now locked. However, there are still many ways that we can be together (albeit not physically) and give support and encouragement to one another.
Jes is providing a thought for the day which will be shared on our Facebook page ” St Mary’s Buckden”.
At 11am each Sunday and 9.30 each Wednesday could we all, if possible, set aside time to pray? We will not be physically together but we will be praying together at those times.
For Sunday we aim to provide a short liturgy, sermon and pewsheet on this website and circulating it by email to those who receive the pewsheet/newsletters by email.
Explore this website, like our Facebook page “St Mary’s Buckden” and follow us on Twitter @A1ChurchBuckden – all of these forums are being updated more often than normal and we’ve been sharing lots of links for resources to worship, prayer, music etc.
The prayer cards that are normally available in church can now be viewed / downloaded / printed from here Buckden’s Prayer Cards
So far we have …..
There is a lot going on to keep us occupied and to keep us connected as Christians during these difficult times.
Jes’s “Thought for the Day” has been shared on Facebook for several days now.
Sunday 22nd March was Mothering Sunday. At 11am we shared our first virtual service; the liturgy, sermon and pewsheet were distributed via email, website and Facebook. If you missed it, you can still download the resources from this website.
At 7pm we joined many around the country in lighting a Candle of Hope in our windows.
