Autumn is upon us and the nights are already drawing in.
Download our newsletter for more detail about the services and events we have planned for October
Services: We are open for services on Wednesdays 9.30am and Sundays 11am and we also provide a virtual service via YouTube each week (see newsletter for more details).
Footsteps in Prayer / Footsteps in Faith:
In September Buckden & District Churches Together launched “Footsteps in Prayer” – walking and/or praying with/for your own neighbours – and covered the whole of Buckden and Perry.
On 8th October, we launch a Zoom course “Footsteps in Faith” to explore questions such as: –
Where is God in Covid 19?
What is Christianity really about?
What is faith about generally?
Contact Jes for joining details
Getting Active Walks: Every Thursday evening
We meet outside the Lion to walk for an hour or half hour. All welcome. Times will vary so please check the roadside noticeboard or Facebook each week.
Our nominated charity for October is Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust. Last month we had 2 teams cycling in the CHCT ride & stride event. Team 1 (John & Catherine) cycled 44 miles visiting an incredible 33 churches, Team 2 (Mo, David & Anne) cycled 17 miles around 13 churches. We are still collecting for the charity by way of sponsorship via https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/stmarysbuckdenrideandstride
